In a Ribbon of Rhythm
A first collection of performance poems by a Johannesburg poet and actor, written in the first decade after apartheid. The poems speak of the black woman's body, family and the city, and of the work of finding a voice. It received the Noma Award for Publishing in Africa in 2006.
