Argo
Six American diplomats slip out of the embassy in Tehran as it is stormed in 1979 and shelter with the Canadian ambassador, and a CIA exfiltration specialist proposes getting them out as the location scouts of a Canadian science fiction picture that does not exist. Hollywood is enlisted to make the fake film convincingly real. The Iranian and Canadian shares of the story were both compressed, which was noted at the time.
