Death Variations

Jon Fosse · 2001 CE · Play · Nordic · Contemporary

After the death of their daughter, her parents are joined on stage by their younger selves and by the girl herself as a child, as the family's history is replayed in fragments. Sparse, repetitive dialogue is the mark of Fosse's drama, and the play won the Nordic Drama Prize.
