RoboCop

Paul Verhoeven · 1987 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

Detroit has sold its police force to a conglomerate that intends to raze the old city, and a newly transferred officer is shot to pieces in his first week in the worst precinct. What the company builds out of what is left comes with directives, a targeting display and fragments of a life it was told to erase. Verhoeven laced the corporate satire with mock bulletins and advertisements.
