Terry Gilliam · 1985 CE · Film · English · Contemporary

A clerk in a ministry of information spends his days correcting paperwork and his nights dreaming of flight, until a misprinted name sends the wrong man to a cell. Chasing the error, he meets the woman from his dreams and starts forging his way through a bureaucracy of ducts, forms and receipts. Gilliam's retro-future dystopia reached American screens only after a public fight with its studio over the cut.
