A former congressman is taken from his Rio beach house by plain-clothes men in 1971 and does not come back, and his wife raises five children while refusing the official line that he simply left, spending decades getting the state to write down what it did. The early scenes are all volleyball and Super 8. From the memoir by their son Marcelo Rubens Paiva, which this archive does not hold.
