Wisława Szymborska · 2002 CE · Poem · Polish · Contemporary
Szymborska's first collection after the Nobel Prize in 1996, in which she keeps the plain, ironic questioning of ordinary things that her earlier readers knew. Her speakers turn small occasions into unexpected enquiries about time, chance and what it is to be one person among many. The Polish title is Chwila.
