Vertigo
Alfred Hitchcock · 1958 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary
A San Francisco detective who has left the force with a fear of heights is hired by an old classmate to follow his wife, who is said to be possessed by a dead ancestor. He trails her through cemeteries, galleries and the bay, and falls for her while doing it. Obsession filmed as devotion; love as necromancy.
