Mystic River

Clint Eastwood · 2003 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

Three boys are scratching their names into wet cement on a Boston street in 1975 when two men in a car take one of them away for four days. Twenty-five years on, one is a shopkeeper whose daughter is found dead in a park, one is the detective assigned to it, and the third comes home with blood on him and no account of his night. Eastwood runs the neighbourhood as a closed system where suspicion does the work of evidence.
