National Lampoon's Vacation

Harold Ramis · 1983 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A Chicago father decides the family will drive to a California theme park rather than fly, is sold the wrong station wagon, and loads a wife, two teenagers and eventually an elderly aunt into it. The detours take in a Kansas relative, a wrong turn into the desert and a woman in a red sports car who keeps reappearing in the next lane. Ramis and Hughes turned the family holiday into a study of suburban male stubbornness.
