A London newspaper prints the name of the programme that made him, so the operative walks into Waterloo station to reach the reporter while an operations room in New York routes a marksman to the same concourse. The trail runs through Madrid and Tangier and back to the building where he volunteered. Greengrass pushed the series' cutting and location shooting to their limit and took three technical Oscars.
