The Terminator
James Cameron · 1984 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary
Two men arrive naked in Los Angeles out of a crack of lightning: one a soldier from a war forty years ahead, the other a machine wrapped in living tissue that starts working through the phone book for women named Sarah Connor. A waitress with no idea why is hunted through clubs, motels and a police station. Cameron made it for very little money and set the terms of science fiction action for twenty years.
