Cinderella

Geronimi, Jackson & Luske · 1950 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A merchant's daughter kept as a housemaid by her stepmother and stepsisters is sewn a gown for the royal ball by the mice and birds she has named, and watches it torn off her before the carriage leaves. A godmother appears at the garden bench, and the enchantment is good only as far as midnight. Disney had lost money on cheap package features through the war and staked the studio on this one.
