Danny and Sandy spend a summer at the beach and assume it is over, until she turns up in September at Rydell High, where he has a leather jacket and a reputation to protect in front of the T-Birds. Songs are staged in the gym, the diner and the drive-in while the Pink Ladies run their own campaign. Taken from the stage show, it became the highest-grossing musical of its era.
