Coco

Lee Unkrich · 2017 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

In a Mexican shoemaking family that has banned music for four generations, a boy who plays in secret steals a dead guitarist's instrument on the night of Dia de Muertos and finds himself walking among the dead. To get back before sunrise he needs a relative's blessing, and the only one who will help him is a shabby chancer nobody has remembered in years. Pixar developed the film with Mexican consultants and it became the highest-grossing release in Mexican box-office history.
