Drive My Car
A stage actor and director whose wife told him stories in the dark after sex, and who died before he could ask her about the man he once saw leaving their flat, takes a residency in Hiroshima staging Uncle Vanya in six languages at once. The festival insists he be driven, and assigns him a silent young woman from the north. Expanded from Murakami's short story, which this archive does not yet hold.
