Glengarry Glen Ross
David Mamet · 1983 CE · Play · Modern / American · Contemporary
Four salesmen work a Chicago real-estate office where the month's contest gives a Cadillac to the top man and the sack to the bottom two, and the good leads sit locked in the manager's desk. Three scenes in a Chinese restaurant set up what is found when the office is opened the next morning. First staged at the National Theatre in London and then on Broadway, where it took the Pulitzer.
