Honey

Semih Kaplanoglu · 2010 CE · Film · Turkish · Contemporary

A six-year-old in the mountain forests of the Black Sea coast stammers at school but speaks easily to his father, a beekeeper who sets his hives in the highest trees, and who whispers with him about dreams on the understanding that saying one aloud stops it coming true. The bees have started disappearing, and the father goes further out to find them. Last of Kaplanoglu's trilogy, told backwards through one life.
