On Golden Pond

Mark Rydell · 1981 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A retired professor turning eighty arrives at the New England lake house for another summer, snapping at his wife and losing the road into town. Their estranged daughter visits with a new fiancé and his thirteen-year-old son, who is left behind for a month with two people who have run out of patience for each other's children. Henry Fonda played his last role opposite his own daughter and the parallel was not accidental.
