Sing Sing
Men serving long sentences in a maximum-security prison up the Hudson rehearse an original time-travel comedy for the drama program that is the one room inside where they are not inmates, and a guarded man from the yard is talked into auditioning. Most of the cast are alumni of the Rehabilitation Through the Arts program playing versions of themselves opposite Colman Domingo, and the film pays every actor the same rate. It was built from John H. Richardson's Esquire report on the program and from the prison play that report describes, neither of which is catalogued here.
