Two continuing serial poems, Song of the Andoumboulou and Mu, drift through jazz, Dogon cosmology and the idea of the lost homeland in repeating, slowly shifting stanzas. A shifting company of travellers recurs across the pages. An experimental lyric work in which the book is a stretch of an ongoing sequence and not a story.
