Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

Nicholas Meyer · 1982 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A middle-aged Kirk pushes paper and reads Dickens while a survey team hunting a lifeless world for a terraforming device finds instead the genetic superman he marooned fifteen years earlier. Khan takes a starship and comes looking for him, and the two commanders manoeuvre half-blind through a nebula. Meyer restaged the series as Hornblower with submarines and rescued a franchise that had nearly stalled.
