Nadav Lapid · 2019 CE · Film · French · Contemporary

A young Israeli arrives in Paris determined never to speak Hebrew again, has everything stolen while showering in an empty flat, and is taken in by a rich young couple who find him fascinating. He walks the city reciting French synonyms from a dictionary and refusing to look up. Lapid drew it from his own years there.
