Take Me Out
A baseball star on a New York team announces that he is gay, and the clubhouse reorganises around the news. A bigoted relief pitcher and a teammate's accountant, who has never cared for baseball, are drawn into the aftermath. Premiered at the Donmar Warehouse in 2002 and moved to Broadway, where it used locker-room nudity to put sexuality on the stage as a question of team and fame.
