The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky
Jack Potter, marshal of Yellow Sky, is bringing home on the Pullman a bride he married in San Antonio without telling a soul in town. Back in Yellow Sky, Scratchy Wilson is drunk and shooting at doors, and the one man who can handle him is on a train in a new black suit. The old frontier ritual is laid out exactly as the dime novels have it, and then something arrives for which the ritual has no procedure.
