Black Watch
Built from interviews with Scottish soldiers who served in Iraq in 2004, it follows a Black Watch platoon from the pub to the front, with a researcher gathering the men's accounts. Scenes from the regiment's three-hundred-year history are layered over the present story. Produced by the National Theatre of Scotland and first seen at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2006; a physical, music-driven piece.
