Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

George Roy Hill · 1969 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

Two Wyoming robbers blow the safe on the Union Pacific once too often and find a hired posse tracking them across the territory without ever closing or giving up. They run out of country, take a schoolteacher along and start over robbing banks in Bolivia with a phrasebook. Goldman's script sold for a record sum and set the tone for the buddy pictures of the following decade.
