Crossing the Sierra de Gredos
Peter Handke · 2002 CE · Novel · German · Contemporary
A woman banker, commissioning a biography of herself from a writer, sets out across the Spanish sierra in search of him, while the novel shifts through other persons, places and times. Seeing and the loss of images are its subjects as much as its plot. The longest of Handke's novels, by an Austrian writer in German.
