Nicolas Winding Refn · 2011 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A Los Angeles stunt driver moonlights as a wheelman on a strict five-minute rule, says almost nothing, and lives down the hall from a woman whose husband is coming home from prison. One robbery meant to clear that husband's debt goes wrong, and the money belongs to men who come looking. Refn took the directing prize at Cannes with it.
