Léon: The Professional

An illiterate Italian hitman in Little Italy waters a houseplant, drinks milk and takes contracts through a local restaurateur; when corrupt narcotics agents kill the family down the hall, the twelve-year-old daughter knocks and he lets her in. She wants to learn his trade in order to use it. Besson's first work shot in New York, and Natalie Portman's debut.
