The Untouchables

Brian De Palma · 1987 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A Treasury agent arrives in Prohibition Chicago to enforce the liquor laws, finds the police department already bought, and assembles three men he can trust, among them a beat cop near retirement who knows how the city works. They take Capone's shipments while the accountant on the team hunts the one charge a court will convict on. De Palma staged it as opera, including a shootout on the Union Station steps.
