Michael Mann · 1995 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A Los Angeles crew takes an armoured car with a loose gunman who leaves bodies, and the robbery-homicide lieutenant who picks up the case is losing his third marriage while he works it. Each man's discipline is the same and neither can put down the work long enough to keep anyone. The downtown bank shootout, recorded with live gunfire in the street, became the reference for how urban firefights are staged.
