Manhunter

Michael Mann · 1986 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

An FBI profiler who retired after nearly dying at the hands of a cannibal is coaxed back to work a family killing that repeats on the full moon. To think his way into the new man he visits the old one in a white cell, and the visit costs him something. Mann shot procedural detail in wide colour and steel light, and put Hannibal Lecter on screen years before the character became a household name.
