Michael Mann · 2004 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A cab driver twelve years away from starting the limousine company he keeps a brochure for picks up a grey-suited passenger offering six hundred dollars for a night of five stops. The first stop ends with a body on the roof of the taxi, and the driver spends the rest of the night ferrying the man between addresses on a list. Mann shot Los Angeles at night on digital video and found depth that film stock could not hold.
