Pink Floyd: The Wall

Alan Parker · 1982 CE · Film · English · Contemporary

A burnt-out rock star sits in a Los Angeles hotel room with the television running, and the room gives way to a father killed at Anzio, a sadistic schoolmaster, a smothering mother and a marriage wrecked from the road. Each injury becomes a brick, and the barricade he assembles is finally addressed by a rally of his own invention. Parker and Scarfe carried it on image and animation with barely a line of dialogue.
