The House at Pooh Corner

A. A. Milne · 1928 CE · Novel · English · Modernist

Tigger arrives in the Forest bouncing and hungry and has to be told what tiggers eat; Eeyore is presented with a house built out of his own; a game is worked out on the bridge involving sticks and the current beneath. Christopher Robin is absent in the mornings now, doing something the animals hear called Learning, and they try between them to establish what it is. Milne closed the sequence here and never wrote a third.
