The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Peter Jackson · 2002 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

The broken company runs three ways: two hobbits carry the ring east with a starved creature guiding them, three hunters chase orcs across Rohan, and a king under a counsellor's spell has abandoned his country's defence. The hunters bring what is left of Rohan to a fortress in the rock as a wizard's armies march on it. Its Gollum was the first performance-captured lead to hold scenes opposite live actors.
