Three Colors: Red

Krzysztof Kieślowski · 1994 CE · Film · Polish · Contemporary

A Geneva model runs over a dog and returns it to its owner, a retired judge who spends his days listening in on his neighbours' telephone calls and feels no shame about it. Their argument turns into an odd friendship, while a law student she never meets lives out a parallel life a few streets away. The last panel of Kieślowski's trilogy on the French republican motto, and the work he retired on.
