Withnail and I

Bruce Robinson · 1987 CE · Film · English · Contemporary

At the fag-end of the 1960s two out-of-work actors flee their squalid Camden flat for a holiday in a rain-lashed Lake District cottage they are hopelessly unequipped to inhabit. Robinson drew the script from his own lean years, and it has become the definitive British cult comedy of failure and friendship.
