In Kilkenny in 1650 an English hunter's daughter slips past the town wall to help kill the last wolf pack, and meets a wild girl of the woods whose body sleeps while she runs as a wolf. Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart draw on the Werewolves of Ossory legend, which this archive holds in no text, and set it against Cromwell's occupation. Cartoon Saloon's hand-drawn animation took five Annie Awards and an Academy Award nomination, closing the Kilkenny studio's Irish folklore trilogy.
