Zootopia

Byron Howard, Rich Moore · 2016 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

The first rabbit to graduate into the police force of a mammal metropolis is put on parking duty, and takes an unassigned missing-mammal case to prove she belongs there. Her only lead is a fox hustler she has leverage over, and the disappearances run along the city's oldest fault line, between the predators and everyone descended from their prey. Disney staged institutional prejudice as a talking-animal procedural, and the film won the animated feature Oscar and became one of the studio's largest earners.
