A Fistful of Dollars

Sergio Leone · 1964 CE · Film · Italian · Contemporary

A gunman nobody names rides into a border town run by two families trading in liquor and guns, and hires himself to each in turn so that they spend their men on one another. A woman held by one of the brothers gives him a reason to stay once the money stops making sense. Made without rights to its source, it created the Italian western, turned a television actor into a star, and was sued to a settlement by Toho.
