Dazed and Confused

On the last day of school in a Texas town in 1976, the outgoing seniors hunt incoming freshmen with paddles, a quarterback is handed a pledge he does not want to sign, and the whole class converges on a beer keg under the moon tower. Nothing is resolved and the night simply runs its course. Linklater's second feature set the drifting ensemble structure he worked in for years afterwards.
