American Graffiti

George Lucas · 1973 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

On the last night of summer in a California town in 1962 four friends cruise the main drag while a radio disc jockey plays records to all of them at once. Two are supposed to fly east for college in the morning, one chases a blonde in a white Thunderbird, and another is stuck with a twelve-year-old. Made for well under a million dollars, it returned a fortune and started the industry's nostalgia business.
