Fatal Attraction

Adrian Lyne · 1987 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A Manhattan lawyer whose wife and daughter are away for the weekend spends it with a book editor he meets at a publishing party, and treats the matter as closed on Monday morning. She does not: first the calls, then the visits, then the appearances at his office and at the house he is buying in the country. Lyne's hit set off a decade of argument about what it says of working women.
