Finding Nemo

Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich · 2003 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A clownfish who lost his family to a barracuda raises his one surviving son on the reef and forbids him the open water, so the boy swims out to a boat and is netted by a diver. The father crosses the ocean after him with a blue tang who cannot hold a thought for a minute, meeting sharks in recovery and a trench of jellyfish. Pixar's water rendering made it the highest-grossing animated film to that date.
