Halloween

John Carpenter · 1978 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A boy in an Illinois town kills his sister on Halloween night, and fifteen years later walks out of the institution holding him and drives home in a stolen car. A high-school babysitter and her friends make plans for the evening while a psychiatrist searches the streets for his patient. Carpenter shot it in three weeks for a few hundred thousand dollars and set the grammar for a decade of slashers.
