Morning Glory

Lowell Sherman · 1933 CE · Film · Modern / American · Modernist

A stagestruck girl from Vermont talks her way into a Broadway producer's outer office and will not leave, reciting Shakespeare at anyone who stands still, until too much champagne at a party and an opening-night emergency hand her a chance she is not ready for. The older actress and the ageing character man have watched this arrival before. Hepburn's third picture won her the first of four acting awards before she was thirty.
