RRR
A Gond girl is carried off from her village by the wife of the British governor, and the young man charged with the tribe's protection goes to Delhi under a false name to get her back. An Indian officer of the colonial police, trusted by the men he serves and hunting exactly that intruder, saves his life at a river crossing, and the two become inseparable before either learns what the other is. Rajamouli stages an invented friendship between two real revolutionaries who never met, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, and the film carried Telugu cinema to an Academy Award for its song.
