Spirited Away

Hayao Miyazaki · 2001 CE · Film · Japanese · Contemporary

A sulking ten-year-old on the way to a new house stops at what looks like an abandoned theme park, where her parents sit down to food that was not laid out for them. To get them back she takes work in a bathhouse for spirits, run by a witch who takes her name in payment. The monomyth in miniature.
